The data collected on this website are processed by the website operator. The operator´s contact details can be found in the website´s required legal notice.

How do we collect your data?

Some data are collected when you provide it to us. This could, for example be data you enter on a contact form.

Other data are collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. These data are primarily technical data such as the internet browser, the operating system you are using and the time  when you accessed the page. These data are collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

For the statistical evaluation of the website accesses, logs are used. These contain the URL and IP addresses accessed. Data that might possibly admit an identification (IP address) are not kept permanently. We are not in a position to draw any conclusions as to the user himself, but only evaluate statistically how often a certain site was visited and where these visits came from, e.g. via a Google search.

What do we use your data for?

Part of the data is collected to ensure the proper functioning of the website. Other data can be employed to analyze how visitors use the site.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You always have the right to obtain information about your stored personal data, its origin, its recipients, and the purpose of its collection at no charge. You also have the right to request that it be corrected, blocked, or deleted. You can contact us at any time using the address given in the legal notice should you have further questions concerning this issue and data protection. You may also, of course, file a complaint with the competent regulatory authorities.

The analysis of your surfing behavior is usually anonymous, i.e. we will not be able to identify you from this data. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. Detailed information can be found in the following privacy policy.

You can object to this analysis. We will inform you about your options of revocation in this privacy policy.

Data protection

The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data as confidential and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations as well as this privacy policy.

If you use this website, various pieces of personal data will be collected. Personal data is any information with which you could be personally identified. This privacy policy explains which information we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how this is done and for what purpose this happens.

Please note that data transmitted via the internet (e.g. via email communication) may be subject to security breaches. Complete protection of your data from third-party access is not possible.

When you visit our website or use our services, the device that you use to access the page will automatically transmit log data (connection data) to our servers. Log information includes the IP address of the device that you use to access the website or a service, the type of browser you use to access, the page you have previously visited, your system configuration, and the date and time information. The IP addresses are only stored if necessary to provide our services. Otherwise, the IP addresses are deleted or anonymized. We will store your IP address when visiting our website for the detection and defense against attacks for a maximum of 7 days.

When you request information, order e-books or make other inquiries, we will ask you for your name and other personal information. It is up to you to decide whether to enter this information or not. We will store your information on specially protected servers in Switzerland. Following appropriate examination, the EU Commission has attested to Switzerland a level of data protection comparable to EU law. Data transmission from the EU to Switzerland is permitted under data protection legislation. Access to it is only possible to a few authorized persons. These are responsible for the technical, commercial or editorial support of the content and servers.

The duration of data retention
Insofar as usage or traffic data, respectively, are required for our services, they will be stored for a maximum of six months after collection of the data. If the data is required to fulfill existing legal, statutory or contractual retention periods (such as invoices), that information will also be stored beyond. However, these data are locked and accessible only to few, authorized persons via passwords.

A transmission of your data to third parties beyond this, e.g. for advertising purposes, will not ensue without your express consent.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, which allows the processing of data to fulfill a contract or for measures preliminary to a contract.

4. Plugins and tools

Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called web fonts of Google for the uniform representation of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser will load the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and  fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you use does not connect to Google´s servers, however, but accesses the Worldsoft servers in Switzerland. As a result, Google will not be aware that our website has been accessed through your IP address.

The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a consistent and attractive presentation of our online services. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If your browser does not support web fonts, a default font will be used by your computer.

Google Maps

This site uses the Google Maps map service via an API. It is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

To use Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer.

The use of Google Maps is in the interest of making our website appealing and to facilitate the location of places specified by us on the website. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Further information about handling user data, can be found in the data protection declaration of Google at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
